Over the past two years Cabinet retreats have been done differently. But this year, the 101st Youth Parliament of Manitoba Cabinet had the opportunity to have their annual retreat at Rock Lake United Church Camp once again. It was filled with many memorable moments, both in keeping with previous Cabinet retreats but also creating new experiences and traditions. For many members on Cabinet and the Executive, it was not only their first in-person retreat but it was the first time meeting new members of Cabinet who they only got to know through a screen. By the end of the three days, memories were shared, stories told, food eaten (of course), and both old and new traditions embraced. But all in all, Cabinet prepared for the hard work of bringing the 101st Session of the Youth Parliament of Manitoba back to the Legislature.
