Here closes the fifth part of a story recounting the 100th part of the story that is the Youth Parliament of Manitoba.
From breakfast up until shortly after lunch, the Ninth and Tenth sittings were held. Afterwards, our traditional knowledge keeper Clayton Sandy delivered an excellent Elder Teaching. Following this was the Prorogation, which formally marked the end of the Session – though the days events were not over. Our executive election was held, and our newest house leader was chosen by YPM’s membership body.
Finally, all were invited to take part in an after hours game of kahoot, and jovial conversation continued late into the night. Happy 100!
