Youth Parliament of Manitoba offers financial assistance for certain groups of Manitobans to attend Winter Session.

Please fill out the form below to apply for funding to attend Winter Session.  We will review the applications and contact you via the email address you provide if you have been awarded funding.

About our funding programs

Monsanto Rural Development Fund

The Monsanto Rural Development Fund was established in the fall of 2012 and is a three year partnership between Monsanto Canada and Youth Parliament of Manitoba (YPM) with the aim of helping rural youth, especially those from a farm family, attend YPM’s annual Winter Session.

The generous contribution from Monsanto enables Youth Parliament of Manitoba to live up to its name by providing opportunities for all Manitoban youth to experience and benefit from our program. It is an essential tool for YPM’s continued commitment to achieving our mandate.

AFMMLA partnership funding

The Association of Former Manitoba MLAs provides funding for youth from Northern Manitoba and to those who would not otherwise be able to attend Winter Session. The goal of this partnership is to ensure that all Manitobans have equal access to Youth Parliament of Manitoba’s programming.
